PURPOSE

Advise – the Leader’s Group how to navigate spiritually through issues of race that affect our church and to communicate the needs of our members in this area.

Assist – in meeting those needs through things like education and training of our small group leaders and members

Listen – to our members 
Educate – ourselves first, and then others
Discuss – among the team in order to learn from each other
Unite – the team in order to model
Reproduce – the forged unity of the team in our church

QUALIFICATIONS

Spiritual – (Acts 6:3) 

Wise – (Acts 6:3)
Diverse – (1 Corinthians 12:12-14)
Temperate – (1 Timothy 3:11, Titus 2:2, Proverbs 29:11)
Communicators – (Ephesians 4;15, 1 Timothy 4:12)

EXPECTATIONS

God's Word – is the standard for everything 

Prayer – and reliance on God
Spiritually Minded – no personal or political agendas
Team Player – work together and be solution-oriented
A Safe Place – for all

COMMITMENT

One year minimum; two-year terms

Meet at least monthly for the first six months

Leader's group selects future members as needed

Teenagers
Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace
